Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Foundry achieved a surge of 821.7% in profits during the first quarter of 2017, compared to the same period in 2016.

Earnings soared to KWD 5.46 million ($17.9 million) in Q1-17 from about KWD 592,400 ($1.94 million) in Q1-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Wednesday.

The growth in Q1 profits resulted from higher investments.
